Independence Day in Alaska

We celebrated the 4th of July in Anchorage. There is very little darkness, so fireworks aren't the best way to celebrate. Instead, there was a big parade, led by Star the Reindeer. Rayna watched from the backpack carried by her Daddy. There is also a picture of a mother moose and her cub that were standing by the side of the road by Elmendorf AFB.

It looks like you guys had a great time. We can't wait to hear all about it. I'm so jealous you got to see Rayna again! I'm sure Nana spoiled her rotten!
